It's always BBQ time down here in the South and I love to use the grill! Cinnasmoke is a great seasoning to be used as a rub for meat and makes a great BBQ sauce. I love to make sauces! Its a great way to add flavor and really develop some complexity and accompaniment to a dish. It really makes the food hold hands with each other. This BBQ sauce is quick and sure to win over any crowd. The citrusy heat of the aleppo pepper along with warmth of the cinnamon really wakes up the palette. Add this sauce to ribs, chicken, shrimp, salmon, mushrooms and even on BBQ Chicken Pizza!
Â
Cinnasmoke BBQ Sauce
1 Cup Ketchup
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
2 Tbsp Cinnasmoke Seasoning
Â
In a small sauce pan, combine all the ingredients above very well. Over medium heat, bring the sauce to a simmer and be sure to stir often. Let cook for 5-10 minutes to allow the flavors to merry. Use immediately or let cool and refrigerate for up to 7 days.Â
Enjoy!
